How the pandemic and professional grading have made ticket stub collecting more popular than ever.

While trading cards may always be number one among sports memorabilia enthusiasts, ticket stub collecting has gradually heated up over the past two years. It has done so for two reasons. The COVID-19 pandemic and grading companies have both made collecting physical ticket stubs more popular than ever. However, digital ticketing may erode some of that enthusiasm – but maybe not for long.
If you have a large collection of sports or gaming cards, you likely have card boxes on shelves. The IKEA-style shelves (pictured below), or wire rack shelves (pictured further below) are effective solutions for card box storage. So what card boxes are best for your card collection on your shelves? There are a few things to consider before you buy card boxes or shelves. Will your cards be stored loose, in toploaders, in magnetics, or other card holders? Will you have any graded cards? How many cards are in your collection? Whatever the answer to these questions, BCW has card boxes to solve your storage needs.
Before you get your card boxes, you might have questions about how the boxes will fit on your shelves. To demonstrate how your boxes will look on IKEA or wire rack shelves, we provided examples below. The wire shelves we used are 36″ wide by 16″ deep.

100 Count Storage Box (1-BX-100)
A Modular Sorting Tray is made by combining individual card cells to form a grid sized for your needs. The cells are connected with strong dovetail joints. These trays are normally used for card sorting projects, and organizing cards while playing board games. However in the hands of a hobby shop, Modular Sorting Trays are excellent merchandising tools. Since whole trays are made by combining individual cells, the store can create a tray that’s the ideal size for their shelf, display case, or convention table. The base of each card cell can be moved from a flat “storage mode” to an angled “display mode”. This angled display mode makes a beautiful presentation of the cards.
The card cells in a Modular Sorting Tray are large enough to accommodate toploaders, magnetics, and semi-rigid #2s. Above, the Baseball Card King used a tray for display-case-worthy cards in SR2s.
Continue readingAs the name suggests, Tall Boy sports cards are taller than traditional sports cards. Tall Boys are about 4 11/16 inches tall, compared to the standard 3 1/2 inches height. Tall Boys are the same width as common cards, 2 1/2 inches.
BCW Supplies, a manufacturer of products to protect, store, and display collectibles, is moving its headquarters to a larger facility. BCW currently has two warehouses in Anderson, Indiana. The main warehouse and office is on 31st Street, and the second warehouse on North Broadway is a former supermarket. BCW has been growing steadily over the past few years, and increased product demand during the pandemic made the need for a larger warehouse a necessity. During 2021, BCW will be shifting operations from the Anderson facilities to an existing warehouse eight miles to the east. The new headquarters will be at 8984 State Road 236 in Middletown. This Middletown site was previously a Down Lite pillow factory, and the Liebhardt Woolen Mills before that. With a strong work force, Anderson has been an excellent home to BCW since the company was founded 40 years ago. The tough decision to move was based upon the perfect fit with the available Middletown facility.
The Middletown community can expect BCW Supplies to be a good neighbor. BCW normally works a traditional business week, with a few large trucks coming and going throughout the day. BCW employs 50 members currently, and expects to grow with the larger headquarters. Job opportunities are listed on the BCW page as they become available.
BCW sends parcels, and larger freight deliveries, from our warehouse in Indiana using UPS, FedEx, and multiple freight delivery companies. As such, our shipping expenses within the 48 contiguous United States are reasonably priced, based on the rates of those delivery companies. We can even offer Free Shipping on domestic deliveries on larger orders (details can be found on the free shipping page), however Free Shipping is not possible for deliveries outside the 48 contiguous United States. Shipping rates on international deliveries (plus Alaska and Hawaii) are notably more expensive than domestic deliveries. Our website will calculate a shipping price for most international addresses, and we understand the international shipping expenses can make it prohibitive to get BCW products delivered beyond the USA. However, there are solutions for many international customers to get BCW products at affordable prices.
